Why Are Accidents In The Office Common?

Other than the obvious home accidents I think office hazards are the next on the list of things to worry about. There seem to be a lot of offices out there that do not check things all of the time and because of this if someone did get injured it would be the company’s fault. So here is a list of just some of the things to look out for from the ergonomic office furniture to the electrical cables that could kill you in a flash.
Stupid Mistakes
It is often these that cause most of the injuries and deaths in a work place, sometimes it is an accident and others it is because they are just being lazy. I almost nearly fall over a bag that has been left in the middle of the floor every week at work, its only a matter of time before someone, most likely me, gets hurt. The thing is, when you arrive in the morning they are always well out of the way but give it a couple of hours and they are in the middle of the floor. If you perhaps spill something on the floor you should always make an effort to clean it up, if you dont you will regret it if someone comes in and falls over.
Cables
If there are cables all over the place in your office why do you not just do something about it and get someone to fix the problem. Cables can be a cause of many things from trips to fires. If they are in the way then put them either within the floor or ceiling. On top fof this you should always have checks on the cables to see if there are any wears and tears, if there are they need to be replaced before a fire breaks out.
So buy office chairs and make sure that your serviced office space is safe!
